Beatriz Protasio is the new Deputy Manager of Liberty’s special risks division
Liberty Mutual Insurance, together with the Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM) division, gathered more than 70 people together during the LSM Experience, an event held at the Casa Brasileira Museum to discuss the main trends in the insurance market, the development of customized solutions for clients of the company and new features for partner brokers.
The event was attended by brokers and partners of the company and aimed to present the new phase of Liberty’s specialty insurance division and to announce Beatriz Protasio as the new Deputy Manager for the region. The Liberty Specialty Markets division offers specialty and commercial insurance and reinsurance products for several regions, including the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East and the United States, among others. The division also provides brokers and policyholders with a broad range of products and has approximately 1,800 employees working across some 65 offices.
“We are currently experiencing a new era in the company, in which our focus is to be closer to our clients through customized solutions and to offer more agility and flexibility to our partners,” says Protasio. “We invest heavily in self-service tools so that partners can increasingly incorporate technology into their daily activities, optimizing their work and, ultimately, empowering them to perform at their very best,” she adds.
With an extensive network of offices across North America, Europe, Asia, Oceania and Latin America, LSM has a team of risk underwriters in each business area, including Marine, Energy, Crisis Management, Civil Liability, Environmental, Port Authority, Transport, Property Loss, Construction, Terrorism, D&O and E&O and Parametric Coverage for Sustainable Energy.
